Louise Goldin is an award-winning British designer based in New York.

She is credited for being one of the first designers to fully understand and embrace the future of knitwear, successfully merging the worlds of fashion design and technology. Her distinctive style of architectural knits and her unique ability to truly test the boundaries of what’s possible have been widely recognised within the industry leading Vogue to call Louise ‘a genius in knitwear’.

In addition to her unrivaled technical expertise, Louise pushes her work far beyond the process itself, translating many diverse interests, references and ideas into her signature, understated cool. Simply put, she makes the experimental and futuristic look effortless and desirable. Louise’s mastery of texture, colour, cut and technology is the result of constant experimentation and over 15yrs experience working with and inside of factories around the world. Her confidence in taking risks and developing original techniques has allowed her aesthetic to continually grow and evolve.

Louise studied under Professor Louise Wilson OBE at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design, and received an MA with distinction in 2005. In addition to her eponymous label, which she showed at London and New York Fashion Week from 2006 - 2013, Louise has both consulted and collaborated with a diverse range of luxury fashion houses as well as Topshop, with whom she partnered for a series of capsule collections. During the period 2011-2018, she worked closely with Kanye West on the creation of his line, Yeezy where she played a key role in the language and development of work.
